I'm pleased to announce that my print "Crows on Wire" was selected for publication in the Santa Clara Review, vol.99 no.2. The publication was released this week, and the occasion was celebrated on Monday at SCU with readings from the publication, as well as poetry readings by guest speaker, and internationally acclaimed poet, Dana Gioia.


"Santa Clara Review is a student-edited literary magazine which publishes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, visual art, and music. The magazine is published biannually in February and May, drawing on submissions from Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff, as well as from writers around the nation and globe. Print Day in May is the day after tomorrow! It is an annual event that always takes place the first Saturday in May, where printmakers form around the world print "together" by making prints wherever they are, and then sharing with the International Printmaking Community on the official Print Day in May blog.

The event was started on May 5, 2007 by the MPC Printmakers and artist Robynn Smith. Every year participation grows as artists from all over the world print and share. This year, in addition to the official Print Day in May (PDM) blog site, there is now an official Print Day in May Facebook page.

I am fortunate to be part of the MPC Printmakers and helping with PDM. I will be printing with many of them and Robynn Smith this year in Monterey, CA.  We are hoping to have more participants this year than ever before!
