I am delighted to announce that I am the new Print Center Manager at the San Jose Institute of contemporary Art! The SJICA is a nonprofit, contemporary art space located in downtown San Jose, CA. The Print Center at the SJICA is a fine art printmaking studio that offers year round educational programming and access to professional printmaking facilities to both novices and experienced artists.

Printmaking: Special Projects Oct. 11 + Oct. 18 + Oct. 25 + Nov. 1 + Nov. 8 6:00pm-9:30pm. Thursday nights. Work on a project of your choice, refresh your skills or just experiment. $295, includes basic supplies, and one free Open Access studio day. Rives BFK Paper available for purchase. Previous printmaking experience required. Instructor: Kim Munson | Monotype Basics: Quick & Easy Dec. 8 Sat, 10am-5pm. Jump into printmaking with this one day introductory workshop on monotypes (one-of-a-kind prints). Have fun and learn to use stencils, masks, caran d’ache, reductive and painterly techniques.
